Chuck has been a professional office furniture salesperson and sales manager for more than 35 years, providing office and healthcare solutions to many western and upstate New York firms. He coordinated and project-managed the furniture installation for the Ralph Wilson Athletic Facility at St. John Fisher College — more than 50 offices and theater seating — as well as the furniture installation for the Firstsource Advantage LLC Facility in Louisville, KY, which included more than 450 workstations.
Fun fact: While attending Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Chuck “babysat” Baseball Hall of Famer George Brett’s house during the Royals road games in 1974-75.

Retired Senior Facilities Manager at Firstsource Advantage LLC
With more than 40 years in facilities, construction and project management, Mark has extensive experience with space planning, interior space design, new construction, renovation project coordination and large office relocation management. He specializes in furniture systems valuation and procurement, and draws on expertise in six sigma risk communication for improving data center infrastructure projects.
Mark most recently served as a senior facilities manager at Firstsource Advantage LLC. In this capacity, he directed numerous projects including class A commercial office space, retail establishments, vacant land and various other projects.
Fun Fact: He enjoys camping, boating and muscle cars.

Facilities, Engineering & Maintenance Manager
John first joined the Colorado Springs chapter of IFMA in 2002. He now resides in Webster NY, with his wife and two college-age boys. He tries to stay active and fit, running and paddling in competitions throughout the Northeast. He spends time on the water in the warm months and hits the trails in area parks during the colder ones.
John is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. He has served aboard ships and with law enforcement teams throughout California, Alaska and Hawaii, and has been in operations as far away as the Marshall Islands. He’s served as project engineer and maintenance manager at a Purina production plant, facilities manager in electronics manufacturing, and a general contractor in home construction. He currently manages a department of 50 engineering and maintenance colleagues, maintaining the production equipment and all facilities on a large campus with numerous buildings totaling more than 600,000 square feet of space.
Fun fact: “Land ahoy!” While crossing the Atlantic ocean and hanging onto the top yardarm of the 295-foot square-rigged sailing ship, the Eagle, John was able to spot the island of Bermuda hours before his fellow “swabs” on deck.

Mike began his career at RD Weis Companies — which offers full-service commercial flooring and maintenance, ceramic restoration, stone polishing and coating — in 1998 as regional manager for central New York, with responsibilities for opening a new branch office in Victor, NY.
Mike has experience in all areas of carpeting, maintenance and facilities management, backed by a dedication to customer service. He helps people reach their visions and goals in flooring by providing environmentally friendly, great-looking, long-lasting options through a wide array of products from multiple vendors. His array of flooring knowledge extends through his classes as a CEU educator, with 18 different courses on flooring to help educate the professional community. Prior to his position at RD Weis, Mike was a department manager for Office Environments, Asheville, NC, where he started in 1991.
Fun fact: Mike is a sawyer/arborist on the side. He enjoys working, climbing and cutting trees. He is also a craft brewer at home.
Director of Communications: Kelly Kinahan

Graduating from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a BS in facilities planning and management, Kelly began working as a space and logistics coordinator in the Research and Academic Affairs Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She was then recruited into a biotechnology company, where she worked for two years as operations manager and ultimately managed the decommissioning, relocation and setup of the company (labs and offices) from Massachusetts to California.
It was during this transition that Kelly decided to pursue her passion for facilities planning and management, began Kinahan Associates and moved back to her hometown in upstate NY. Through networking, she has been afforded opportunities to work with the best and the brightest architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, scientists and consultants throughout New England and New York. She is committed to collaboration with expert partners in order to contribute to the success of her clients.
Fun Fact: She collects magnets and crosses in her domestic and international travels. A ballroom dance instructor in her early 20s, she regrets not sticking with it because she could be DANCING WITH THE STARS TODAY!
Past President: Norm Mistal
Centennial Associates, Inc.
Norm has been responsible for all day-to-day operations of Centennial since its founding in 1992. He has directed and supervised a staff of associates and vendors on numerous customer projects, coordinating with engineering and construction firms to ensure their successful completion. Under his leadership, Centennial became a Bar|Scan dealer to assist in planning for future reconfigurations and relocation projects.
For the 26 years prior to founding Centennial Associates, Norm was employed by Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester. He spent the last 15 years of his career there in various facilities management positions, managing multipurpose industrial and office buildings. He has earned the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation through Buildings Owner and Managers Institute International (BOMI).
Fun Fact: He enjoys golfing, fine dining, a good single malt and, sometimes, a good bottle of wine.
